Hidden among the trees of Red Gate Hollow, a new memorial is taking shape: the Rainbow Bridge & Garden Memorial Project. Conceived in loving memory of Little Boy Nemo, this woodland sanctuary is being created as a place of remembrance, reflection, and gratitude for the animals who have enriched our lives with loyalty, adventure, and unconditional love

At the heart of the project stands a handcrafted timber pavilion bearing Nemo’s name. Framed by the forest and surrounded by stone, native plants, and quiet trails, the shelter offers visitors a peaceful place to pause and remember the companions who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
The memorial is more than a tribute to one beloved dog. It is a living space dedicated to every animal that has become family—a place where stories can be shared, memories preserved, and the bond between people and their pets celebrated.
As the garden evolves, plans include carefully selected plantings, natural seating areas, commemorative features, and spaces designed for quiet reflection. The vision is not one of sorrow, but of appreciation: appreciation for muddy paws, faithful companionship, countless adventures, and the simple joy that animals bring into our lives.
